Intel CoreX Core i9-7900X will be available before July

At the Computex, Intel had announced the high-end processors of the series Core X for LGA-2066-Motherboards, will be available to buy from the next week.

On the E3, Intel clarifies the confusion surrounding the delivery dates of the new processor family Core X for high-end desktop (HEDT) PCs: the LGA-2066
processors with four to ten cores - from the Core i5-7640X to the Core i9-7900X should be available from 19 June. Traders will then deliver them from the week after that starts on June 26th.

The core kernel i9-7920X will be released later in August and the versions Core i9-7940X (14 cores), Core i9-7960X (16 cores) and the 18 core Kernel i9-7980X Extreme Edition will be available in October.

Matching mainboards with LGA-2066 version and the chipset X299 already on the websites of Asus, Gigabyte and MSI already, but not yet in dealers shops.

- AMD Ryzen thread ripper earlier

It may well happen that HEDT PCs with Intel chips have to suffer a few months under "kerning" if AMD also gets the Ryzen Threadripper, which is also announced on the Computex announced earlier with 16 cores out of the door. Dell has announced the gaming PC Alienware Area 51 with Threadripper.
